Vers Beton editorial illustration
Vers Beton, a new blog about Rotterdam, needed an illustration for one of their articles: “Rotterdamse kunstinstellingen: Het is gewoon een groot drama”. I chose the lace scarf because it’s delicate and fragile, it represents the cultural landscape in Holland. It needs care to maintain it, but the budgetcuts will cause gaps, some institutions will disappear, leaving the network damaged.
