St. Pauli
Illustration made for an invitation to the annual St. Nikolausparty given by the company i was working for at the time, nhb Hamburg. The party would be at the clubhaus of the St. Pauli soccerclub. I aspired a piraty feel, since the logo of St. Pauli is a scull & crossbones. Other influences were seamen tattoos and the Hamburg harbour. Goldfoil on black velvet flockpaper was what I had in mind for it, but sadly it was never executed.
Good thing my friend Skapti from Iceland printed some copies and had his schoolclass colour them!
