Series of linoprints of ficticious buildings. I wanted to show as little detail as possible without losing the character of the buildings. By cutting windows, chimneys or satellitereceivers out of the flat and massive shapes they become recognisable. You might find yourself wondering if it’s the building around the corner from your place.
They might not be worth a second glance but they are all around us.
Printed on sumi-e using both sides of the paper to create depth.
